Description

Overview CoFlex TLC Two-Layer Compression Kit is a two-layer Unna Boot compression bandaging system that is ideal for patients that require both an absorbent dressing and a compressive outer layer. These CoFlex Two-Layer Compression Bandages provide patient comfort during compression. The inner layer is a soft, absorbent foam that will supplement a wound dressing. Heavy drainage is wicked away quickly, regulating the moisture inside the wrap. The second layer of this compression system is a low-profile wrap that applies a restorative compression level. CoFlex TLC is ideal for the treatment of venous leg ulcers and similar conditions. CoFlex TLC is latex-free, so it is suitable for a wide range of patients. The low-profile design of this compression bandage makes Coflex TLC easy to wear comfortably. Standard 35-40 mmHg and Lite 25-30 mmHg compression levels are available. The standard compression kit comes in multiple colors as well as an extra-long option. To use CoFlex TLC, apply the absorbent blue side of the foam layer to the skin or dressing. Then wrap the elastic layer over the top of the foam layer to hold the foam in place and apply compression. A nylon sock (included) slips over the top of this compression bandage to prevent snagging and provide easy wear. CoFlex also makes a Bandage Wrap that provides light compression in a variety of colors and widths. CoFlex TLC Features and Benefits Applies Restorative Compression Kit Includes Nylon Stocking Visual Indicators Show When Compression has Achieved Odor and Itch Control Blue Foam Is Absorbent and Moisture-Wicking Sticks to Itself Easy-Tear for Scissor-Free Application CoFlex TLC Contraindications CoFlex TLC is not designed to be used as a primary dressing. Patients with an ABI reading of less than 0.8 should not use the standard CoFlex TLC.
